The fall meeting of the Illinois Council of Operating Room Nurses will be held in Chicago this year on October 15th. State councils are 501(c)6 professional organizations and are formed to focus on legislative issues pertinent to nurses. All state wide operating room nurses are encouraged to attend as this is our political lobby within the state.
Swedish Covenant Hospital is located at 5145 North California Avenue, Chicago, IL. Registration begins at 7:30am.

Do you like cookies?? If so, join the chaper members at our next meeting. We will be having a cookie exchange. To participate bring 4-6 dozen of your favorite cookies to exchange with other members. It’s great fun and a way to get to know unfamiliar nurses from other hospitals.

All members are welcome to join us Tuesday, November 15th in Room E200 at 6pm. Our meeting location is Edward Hospital’s Education Center in Naperville, IL. We will have a continuing education program followed by our business meeting. Karen Keller RN, BSN from the University of Chicago Medical Center will be the evening’s speaker. Her topic is “Interoperative Care of the Liver Transplant Patient.” One CEU will be available for all participants.
