AORN Congress 2002 delegate report

The 49th Annual AORN Congress in Anaheim from April 21-25 was an experience I will remember well. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to re-energize, network with other colleagues, preview new products and learn new ways to provide and promote excellenece in patient care. I attended various seminars with two covering such “hot topics” as bioterrorism readiness in the 21st century and correct site surgery. The days were long with seminars, Congress forums, and vendor displays but there was some time for entertainment and an evening at Disneyland’s Adventure land. I enjoyed representing our chapter and thank each and every member for the privilege of attending the AORN congress. It is an experience every member should strive to experience!
